Climate in Phoenix

The desert is very hot in the summer, with daytime highs approaching 110 degrees. Most buildings are heavily air conditioned, and the evenings cool down nicely, so a light jacket or sweater may still be needed. When we travel to California, the beaches do get quite cool at night, so you’ll need something to keep you a warm. Remember a hat or bandana and sunscreen for all outdoor activities.
